• A wonderful exchange.

  We had the good fortune to meet Errol and Saundra before we flew to Florida. They are the loveliest of people. It was such a pleasure to share a meal before heading off. We arrived at their property and had to take a moment to take in just how fortunate we were to make this exchange. Their beautiful home sits right on the waterside with jaw dropping views over the Indian River. In the distance is Space Kennedy where we witnessed 3 spectacular launches in 2 weeks from their private pier. We saw Dolphins and Manatees, watched Eagles catch fish and witnessed stunning sun rises. Their home is truly lovely with many independant restaurants within walking distance. They also have lovely friendly neighbours who welcomed us with trademark southern hospitality and became firm friends. We are eternally grateful for the lifelong memories we made in Titusville and will always remain friends with Saundra and Errol whose communication and helpfulness was above and beyond. • An amazing trip of a lifetime!

  We had a truly wonderful stay at Saundra and Erol’s house. They are great swappers, their house is amazing, it’s close to many natural and man-made wonders, and an easy jumping off point for the Orlando theme parks. Organising and operating the swap was really simple: Saundra and Erol are friendly, relaxed, helpful and efficient; it was obvious they have done this many times before. Their house is big (really big!), extremely well-appointed and spotlessly clean, with everything you need inside and out, including a stylish outdoor seating area on the deck, bikes and beach gear. A special bonus is the location: right on the Indian River lagoon, with fantastic wildlife literally on your doorstep (dolphins, fish, ospreys, eagles, alligators and more). Cape Canaveral is right opposite – we watched x4 rocket launches straight from the deck! The neighbours are lovely too. Nearby, our evening kayak trip through the lagoon’s biolumiscent waters was a highlight of the whole trip (contact BK Adventures, a local tour operator). Don’t miss the manatees at Haulover canal, the miles of unspoilt sugar sand at Playalinda beach, and the Kennedy Space Centre, all only 20 mins drive away. New Smyrna Beach 45 mins up the coast is a nice seaside town (and you can drive your car onto the beach, if that’s your thing!). We hired a jet ski nearby. Sadly, we didn’t have time for an airboat ride but it’s only 20 minutes away too. Titusville is a quiet town but still has everything you need in terms of shops and restaurants (you need to drive pretty much everywhere - but that’s Florida!). Our favourites were Café Paradiso (very friendly, live music, great cocktails and creole food), Dixie Crossroads (delicious shrimp specialities) and BB Rad’s Coastal BBQ (only a few yards from the house). Orlando and the parks are an easy hour’s drive away. We did the trip 7 times and never had any problems, save for the heat and torrential thunderstorms – but that’s normal for July! If you’re going to the parks in summer do your research, pace yourselves and take advantage of the Lightning Lanes if you can. And don’t worry: the rain doesn’t usually last more than a hour or two. All in all, a brilliant swap!

• Outstanding home, stunning views

  Our stay at Saundra and Erols home in Titusville could not have been better. Right from the start clear and very detailed home instructions enabled us to fully enjoy the property. Every need for a great stay is meet, the home is suberbly located on the waterway with wonderous views across to Merritt Island. We were even fortunate to watch, from outdoor on your deck a night time rocket launch from nearby Kennedy Space Centre! The welcome meal was very much appreciated and we felt the wonderful hospitality of Saundra and Errol right from the start of our stay. Their home is truly a gem in the Homelink network and we strongly recommend Saundra and Errol's home if your travel plans have you on Florida's Space Coast!

• A Great Florida Experience

  My sister and I truly enjoyed the Ozan's beautiful home, their friendly neighbors, their delightful cat companions, the lovely sunrises over the Indian River, the perfect view for a SpaceX launch and their excellent manual for enjoying and caring for their home. A true delight. I hope they enjoy my little cabin in the woods as much.

  La maison de Saundra et Erol était très belle , au bord de l'eau . Ce fut un plaisir de chaque moment passé chez eux . La communication avec Saundra a été très sympathique . Envoyant presque chaque jour un message et des photos , nous avons pu nous tenir informés de nos vacances réciproques . Vraiment un échange très réussi , nous les recommandons très chaleureusement , car nous avons passé des vacances inoubliables . Un grand merci à Saundra et Erol .

• A beautiful area with lots of conveniences

  Thank you for such a beautiful place. Very safe gated four townhouse location with beautiful landscaping. I felt like a millionaire. The views were spectacular. I met the neighbors during the Space X launch and they were very friendly and informative. The location was the very best spot for watching a launch from Cape Canaveral. I spent a lot of time exploring the area. I was sorry to hear that the beaches at Playalinda were closed because of the hurricane. I found some hiking trails and some beautiful parks in the area. I just happened to be there for a great local Christmas parade. There was a lot of things to do within walking distance. I was also close enough to visit my mother in Deland.

  Erol and Saundra have a spectacular and comfortable home right on the water overlooking the Johnson Space Centre. The home itself is lavish, beautifully appointed, and private. It is close to all the amenities a person could want and their house guide was comprehensive and informative. You can do daily adventures easily, including Cocoa Beach fun, all the parks at Orlando, Playa Linda, Daytona Beach....! The neighbors were friendly and helpful. Erol and Saundra communicated so efficiently and with such warmth. This exchange will stay in our memories forever and a day. Wow!

  We are so grateful you reached out to us for a swap! Your home is bright and comfortable, your hospitality is exemplary, and the area around Titusville is so very interesting... There was a new adventure each day - the Valiant Air museum, Kennedy Space Center, an airboat ride on the St. Johns River, a visit to Cocoa Beach, the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge - quite varied activities! We loved getting to know your 3 kitties: Frisky, Sadie and Sarie. They are friendly and loving - each in their own way. Your home must be a popular destination on Homeland. We certainly can see why!   Dear Saundra and dear Erol, The arrival at your house was wonderful and the first view from the terrace was breathtaking. We had expected it to be nice, but then we were overwhelmed. Already on the first evening the first dolphins greeted us on the jetty and we also experienced manatees very close. The two cats were very easy-care and nice and we were happy to take care of them. We enjoyed our first Florida vacation, stayed at the Kennedy Space Center, swam in the Blue Springs, visited several beautiful beaches, visited Universal Studios and saw a rocket launch. We thank you for your hospitality. We felt so comfortable. Next year we will be vacationing again in beautiful Florida. Many greetings, Jana and family

  We had a truly wonderful experience in Florida at Saundra and Erol home! The house is fantastic, exactly how you'd imagine looking at the picture, and such is the neighborhood and the small town. We made a lot of good trips from Titusville, to nice beaches, to Orlando attractions, to Kennedy Space Center and to Merritt Island nature trails and wild beaches. The house was very clean when we arrived and we had enough food and space to make us comfortable; Saundra and Erol have been very nice and fast in responding to all our questions. They treated our home as it was theirs so we could not be happier at this exchange! i really recommend you try and swap home with this florida paradise :-)
