  We just returned from a lovely exchange in Woerden Netherlands. We were only able to stay a week due to our schedule, and could have spent more time there. Woerden is a historic, interesting town; very easy to get around and walk to city center from the house. There are excellent restaurants and the town is a good size, not too crowded and very peaceful. There is a train station and it was easy to visit other towns. Our home was very clean, we had plenty of room for our clothes and we really enjoyed the outside patio with seating outside. Judith and Lars were very willing to share information before our trip and the guide to their home was clear and understandable. Joeri, their son picked up at the Amsterdam airport and drove us to their home when we arrived and explained everything. Judith made our taxi reservation for us to return to the airport, which was very smooth. We enjoyed seeing Holland outside of Amsterdam and visiting the local villages. We would highly recommend this home and Judith and Lars for an exchange.

  This was our first exchange and from the initial contact many months before the trip Judith and Lars were a joy. We felt very well prepared for our journey thanks to Judith's always friendly willingness to entertain our questions and concerns. Their home was delightful and Woerden is a charming town with a close-to-the-country feel yet well within comfortable striking distance of Amsterdam. Their residential neighborhood is within easy walking distance to the town's center which hosts a weekly market featuring delicious local agricultural products. Within 10 minutes of the house you can be bicycling in the countryside with beautiful bucolic views and discovering tiny hamlets alongside lovely canals. We have a treasure-chest full of fantastic memories from this exchange and highly recommend Judith and Lars as exchange partners.

  Dear Judith and Lars, we have had a very nice time in your home and in Woerden, whitch is a very nice and interesting place to be and a good starting point for different trips in Holland. The email-contacts before and during the swap were friendly, helpful and sometimes funny, we always felt welcome. .. Your house is renovated very lovely, pretty and stylish and we liked it very much.
