  The Yarra Valley is such a great place to have a week or more holiday. Besides the excellent wines to taste and the dining out experiences the different wineries offer, there are many walks and small towns to visit. Some of the wineries like Yering Station and Coombe offer interesting history. This pretty, very fertile area is so close to Melbourne and an easy trip from Tullamarine airport. Virginia and Graeme are excellent hosts who make you feel very welcome. It was great to have time to explore rather than being a day-tripper or a weekend visitor from Melbourne.
