• A great flat in a great location!

  We spent a wonderful week in Paris at Yvette and Barry's lovely flat. It was comfortable and cool, despite the warm weather and the busy alley below. The location was great - close enough to walk to many places (including the Gare du Nord and the Pompidou Centre) and also very near a metro. The area is fascinating - lots of small shops and bars, French and Turkish restaurants, everything you need just outside your door! We'd definitely go back again if given the chance...

  Wonderful place. I immediately felt at home. The area is perfect, lively and full of energy. Excellent for foodies. Best bakeries, delis and restaurants just round the corner. Thank you Yvette and Barry.

• Fortnight in Paris

  We swapped homes with Yvette and Barry. Barry welcomed us in the station and we had a drink together. They are very nice people, familiar with home exchange and life in general. The appartment is situated in a very animated part in the center of Paris. This probably was one of the finest home swaps we ever experienced!

  The apartment is in a perfect area for seeing Paris and enjoying the city at night too. It's very cosy and clean, our stay was really wonderful!
