First of all, we want to thank Lea's invitation to visit her place in Munich, which turned into a five-week long wonderful trip. Lea and Toby prepared daily surprised for an Advent calendar, giving us our first German Christmas Experience. They also provided us with plenty of food and wine, along with unlimited sparkling water. Lea and Toby also introduced as to their neighbours, making sure that we had someone to go to in case we need anything. We felt very taken care of. From their home we saw many interesting art work and creative painting from kids, we found they are lovely family and open mind education which we can learn from her. We didn't know much about Munich before this visit, but we learned that this is a city that has a rich history and culture. We have visited places such as Neuschwanstein Castle, Konigssee in Berchtesgaden National Park and Nuremberg ,each of which gave us a new persepctive about Munich. Now we simply wish we have more time than we did. Now we have to start finding ways to come back again!
We spend wonderful holidays with our children in Lea ans Tobi'es house. Big house, nice garden, the place where they live is very pleasant(nature, shops, restaurant, walks by bike ...). You can go easy by S bahn to the center of Munich and you can discover nice places in Bavaria or Austria. Thank you to Lea abd Tobias for their advices and their kindness.
Lea and Tobi are a relaxed and easy couple to get to know and we enjoyed many interesting discussions with them. They are a lovely family with three delightful little children and we hope to stay in touch and see them grow up. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in their comfortable and warm home, ideally situated in a quiet and pretty suburb on the edge of Munich. It was so easy to get around, by rail network into the city and by car or train further afield. Thanks so much Lea and Tobi, xxx
We had a great time in Munich and loved the location of Lea and Tobi's house. After site seeing all day, we would come home, cook supper, and either walk to the nearby neighbourhood beer garden (which has a playground) or bike to the skateboard park and soccer fields. It is close to the City (but far enough away that its a nice single family house neighbourhood), and its close to the Alps and nature. We also had the pleasure to spend the day with Lea and Tobi and their kids! Great people, easy to get along with.
