  Markinch has a train that takes you to centre of Edinburgh and a short drive away there are beautiful coastal villages and beaches. Lots to do for the kids .

  We had such a lovely time in this lovely home. The setting is excellent as it is close to trains and driving everywhere was easy. It's close to the beach too and so many castles and palaces that we were drenched in Scottish history. The family ensured that all of our needs were taken care of- even preparing an Easter egg hunt for my two small boys. We loved our stay.
