I am a Teaching Assistant, Peter runs his own Property Management Company, married for 38 years. We have 2 daughters who have long left the nest. Peter was born in Bristol so knows the area really well. We both enjoy hiking, exploring different cultures and good food. We did our first home exchange 35 years ago with Intervac, an enormous catalogue and handwritten letters!

Koduvahetuseks pakutava kodu kirjeldus
Victorian 'roses around the door' cottage, with fabulous views and character. 3 reception rooms Living Room, Dining Room and Office, the Kitchen is in the new extension which has a sitting & eating area. Additionally downstairs there is a Utility Room and Cloakroom. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms (3 double beds and 1 single) a shower room and an en-suite with a bath. We have everything that you need including bikes to explore the countryside, golf clubs, Sky, lots of books & DVDs. We are an easy (by Car or Bus) 15 minutes to the centre of Bristol and 35 minutes to Bath. London is less than 2 hours depending on which train you take it can be just 1hour & 35mins. away by a direct train (Nailsea & Backwell Train Station to London Paddington).

We are well placed to see the best of England,we are only 15 minutes to Bristol and 35 minutes to Bath. Wales and the Costwolds are an easy 1 hour away. London (by train or car) Devon, Dorset and Wiltshire are all within 2 hours.
Bristol is the only British City to be included in the DK Eyewitness Travel Guide Series 'Top 10 cities for 2009' it is described as a "great city" and was chosen because of its varied character.

Tyntesfield a beautiful National Trust property is within walking distance. Bristol is 15 minutes away, by bus or car. Bath is only 35minutes away by car or quicker by train from Nailsea & Backwell Train Station.

We have agreed on a swap for Summer 2024 maybe contact us for 2025? We are quite relaxed but understand how precious your home is and would treat your home with respect and would expect the same in return. For 2025 we are open to any offers but we do prefer places where we can hike/walk, with beautiful scenery, some culture or history and some fabulous food and a little bit of sun!
