We live in a rural part of Switzerland but are well connected to the rest of the country by car or by train. Basel is half an hour away, Zurich, Bern and Luzern just under an hour.
Our home is comfortable and well equipped. It’s a wooden Norwegian style house with all the usual modern amenities. The living room has a wood burning stove and we are especially proud of our little „Cinema Room“ with a beamer and a large screen.
There is also our lovely garden with lots of flowers, herbs and vegetables. And in the evening you can have a nice barbecue and watch the swallows and red kites circling overhead.
There is a well-stocked Coop shop just a five-minute-drive away. Every Friday morning there is a farmers‘ market in the village square. And if you don’t feel like cooking yourself, there are several nice restaurants very near.
Our house is only 45 minutes from Basel airport.
