We are big water (and snow) fans.
For next Summer 2019, we would like to go to the North or near water, see, lake or river,... with a possibility to bath and to swimm. The both would be perfeckt!!
We are open for all propositions, for other periods, too.

Koduvahetuseks pakutava kodu kirjeldus
Hello,
We live for some months in this house, built in 1880, that we are renovating.
On the ground-floor are the living-room, the kitchen, the parents-room and the bathroom.
On one side first floor, are our four kids rooms, quiet small, and a toilet. Two rooms have a single bed. One room has a single bed and a double bed as reserve. One room has a double bed with a single bed as reserve.
On the other side, the first floor provides two additional rooms, among which one serves as a playing room.
We are a 6-members family but the house allows more persons.
The house includes a big trampoline, a tennis table, two small terraces and a barbecue. We also have a big vegetables garden.
We provide lot of bikes, among which mountain bikes and one electric bike. You can use our 2-places kayak and our 6-places canoë.
A car exchange is possible, but we need a car for six persons.
We did 5 exchange between 2010 and 2013, and now back on homelink again ;-))

Although we live in a very small village, we can find, less then 300 meters away, a bakery, a cheese dairy, a butcher's shop, a postoffice, a pharmacy and a doctor. In the same beam, there are also two antique dealers and two restaurants.
We have the chance of having shops and restaurants with a very high level of quality. The cheese dairy offers the possibility to see the making of cheese thanks to a windows placed in the wall between the shop.
In the town, "le char à fondue du Cousimbert" offers the possibility eating a fondue in horse-drawn carriage.
We are only 20 meters away from the bus stop that desserves Fribourg, Charmey, Bulle, La Roche.
We are on the countryside, but less then 10 km away to the city of Fribourg, the lake of Gruyère and the Mountain Cousimbert (La Berra).
From here you can do many outdoors activities, hiking, biking, swimming, canoying, horse-riding, golfing, skiing or iceskating, in winter.
The city Fribourg offers many cultural activities, Gruyère has a rich patrimoine, Gäntirisch is a natural park, beside the Lac Noir (Schwarzsee), 22 km away.

Gruyère is famous for its cheese, fondue, cows and chocolate and rich and proud of its traditions.
The city:
Fribourg is a very particular city with a upper and lower part.
In the lower part, you can walk along the river La Sarine, enjoy the bridges, go to the swimming-pool or the lake of Pérolles. You can go to the upper part with à funicular or by feet. The sightseeing from the both part is very particular. On the upper part are the shops, the cathedral St-Niklaus, the Tinguely and Nicki the St-Phall museum, ...
Gruyère is the name of the area where we leave, but the name of a famous village, too. There you will found the Gigger museum, a castle, and cheese and the famous double cream of La Gruyère. (Gygger made the aliens for the film)
You can visit the chocolate fabric Cailler in Broc or go to the city of Fribourg where the chocolate Villars is made (our favorite one!).
Mountain:
So, we live on the Cousimbert's road. Cousimbert is a mountain. You can go with the car and then walk to the mountain La Berra with a beautiful sightseeing. Take a rest in one of these typical swiss mountains restaurant called "buvette d'alpage".
The other famous mountain here is Le Moleson.

Lakes
Our lake is lake of Gruyère, very nice with is small small small Isle of Ogoz.
You can experiment the lac noir (Black lake/schwarzsee) or the Murten lake or the Neuchatel Lake
