This was our first visit to this area of Scotland and Jim & Mary's comfortable, rural, peaceful and spacious bungalow was centrally located for easy visits to Edinburgh, Stirling, Falkirk, Perth, St Andrew's, Dundee, etc. The bungalow has pleasant views at the front and back of grassland with grazing deer and dramatic hills. There are plenty of walking paths locally and visitors must be sure not to miss the Rumbling Bridge & Gorge which is only a couple of miles away - especially breathtaking in wet weather! We had been worried about the midges but in the end it was rain that was more prevalent, but we didn't let it spoil our enjoyment. All in all a wonderful spot where you can do as much or as little as you like with plenty of walking, places to visit, lochs, castles and palaces.

Koduvahetuseks pakutava kodu kirjeldus

Our bungalow is in a quiet friendly neighbourhood in a village with easy access (4mls) to motorway link to Edinburgh, Perth, Dundee and the home of golf St. Andrews all within a half hour drive with the historic towns of Stirling (Braveheart Country) and Dunfermline (Andrew Carnegie's birthplace) 20 minutes drive away all are good shopping centres. The Area is ideal for walking with the river Devon 5 minutes walk from the bungalow, Kinross is 4 miles away beside Loch Leven with the castle where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned and has some really interesting walks, the Fife coast 20 minutes drive away has some lovely coastal walks and several lovely beaches.

The Garden is private with open fields to the rear with views of the Ochil Hills there is a decked area for barbeques and a comfortable summer house if the evening gets chilly. The Front looks onto a deer farm and the deer appreciate all offerings of fruit and vegetables, we have a pheasant who visits several times a day for seed summer and winter.

Our local golf course is just over a mile from the bungalow and has 3 nine hole courses with spectacular views and excellent food also the Inn in the village of Muckart serves good pub food and is just 5 minutes from home.

The kitchen is fully equiped with oven & hob, microwave,
washing machine, dishwasher, and a tumble dryer in the garage.

We have a small family car and a SUV automatic car with a fitted Sat. Navigation system available for exchange.

We are in a village with local public house, the golf course is 1mile away and a trout river flows round the village. The surrounding land is a haven for walkers with numerous public footpaths, the nearest hills are 2 miles away. The nearest loch(LOCH leven) is 5 miles away and this is where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned, there are boat trips to the island.
