Comber is a charming small town in County Down. Well-stocked shops which easily meet daily grocery needs are within walking distance. There are a number of local bistros, cafes and restaurants for dining out. Breakfasts are big here, so if you're in the mood for a fry, you're in the right place!
Belfast city center is approximately 40 minutes away by bus, and offers all the cultural, dining, shopping venues one would expect in a capital city. Comber sits on the northern edge of Strangford Lough which is internationally recognized for its unspoiled natural beauty and extensive wildlife.
The National Trust Properties of Mount Stewart and Castle Ward (one of the sites where Game of Thrones is filmed) are within an easy driving distance. Nendrum Monastic Site, dating to the 5th century, neolithic stone circles, and Castle Espey wildfowl sanctuary are minutes away.The Giants Causeway, Rathlin Island.....there are far too many historical, picturesque and interesting places to list here, but many to explore. A car is needed.
