This was another great exchange! Dorine and Roger's house is even better than you would guess from the pictures. The location is simply stunning. You just walk a few metres from their house and you have an amazing view over Widemouth bay, you can see for miles along the fabulous north Cornish coast. Walk 5 more minutes and you're on the south west coast path, and a breathtaking part of it! Bude is a lively town featuring great beaches. Dorine and Roger were helpful and very nice and easygoing. The activities on the adjacent farm and campingsite are not inconvenient or noisy at all, on the contrary, in the garden you enjoy silence and birdsong. The roads near the farm are ofcourse narrow and steep, as was to be expected, but it is fairly close to the A39 which takes you easily to the countless interesting places in Cornwall and Devon. Much recommended, we would like to come back some day!

Our exchange to Roger and Dorine's home on the North Cornish coast was most enjoyable. It was our first trip after the 3rd Coronovirus lockdown so it was a particularly welcome break . Roger and Dorine are good communicators and generous hosts. Their barn is perfectly situated for walks along the Cornish coast or over the pretty country side inland. It is a very peaceful spot . The weather was not wonderful so we spent some time in the warm and comfortable house. We did manage to have a couple of good days when we visited Bude and Padstow. We loved visiting the local Rebel Cinema - what a gem so close by. On our return, our house was just as we'd left it. Thank you, Roger and Dorine, for enabling us to have a very happy week.
