Gorgeous sea views! We had a lovely stay in Fay and John’s spacious flat in Southwold. It was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. We loved watching the paddle boarders and swimmers in the sea and could hear the waves breaking on the shore whilst lying in bed, what a treat. We had excellent communication with John before we went and this helped us settle in and make plans. The flat is in an ideal spot for enjoying the beach and exploring Southwold with lots of walks and lovely places to eat. RSPB Minsmere is about 30 minutes drive and a wonderful place to visit. Thank you both for such a memorable exchange!

This is the perfect seaside venue in Southwold. The view of the lighthouse from the kitchen diner is charming and the beach is a just a three minute stroll past the ice-cream shop. John and Fay were delightful hosts.

We had a very enjoyable week in Southwold, the home is ideally placed for the seafront and all amenities and the car is only necessary for trips to other towns in the area. We found plenty to do even outside the main season for a seaside town and the town has some very welcoming cafes and pubs, all closeby. The home is comfortable with nice natural light and splendid views.

Lovely place, very comfortable and spacious and great views - we loved the big armchair at the front window which overlooked the waves. If you wanted to invent a perfect location, this would be it. Lovely views from the balcony of Southwold Church, the Lighthouse, and the rooftops. And Southwold is a great place for foodies - local cheeses, meat from local producers, a pie shop, fresh local-caught fish, and (of course) fish and chips.
