Our flat is in the Eixample Dreta district of Barcelona which was an urban design project of the late nineteenth century, away from the tourist areas but close to historic centre of Born. We are 15 minutes' walk to the beach and five minutes' walk to Born. We are less than a minute away from the Ciutadella Park which has an outdoor playground, rowing lake, and the Barcelona zoo. There is also an outdoor roof-top public swimming pool near the Park. There a number of restaurants and shops nearby including an excellent supermarket. In Born, there are all kinds of interesting shops and restaurants. You are close to a number of transport links -- the metro and train station of Arc de Triomf (two or one stops, respectively, to Placa Catalunya), tram lines, and the Estacio de Franca train station. It is a beautiful and friendly neighbourhood close to all that Barcelona can offer!
