We live in Lyss, a small town 20 km from Berne. Our house is in a quiet area and we have friendly neighbours.
We are a family of five with three kids. Anouk (15), Noel (13) and Svea (8). They love (as we do) to exchange homes, they are very careful with other peoples belongings and are well behaved. Catherine is a primary teacher and i am a secondary school teacher. We are interested in a lot of things like culture, museums and history, but we all like a relaxed day at the sea.

We are interested in various activities, Catherine is in the Volley-Club Lyss, Anouk plays Rugby at the Bern Rugby Club and Svea is into balley and horse riding. Everyone in our family likes to play games, as we have several consoles and computers.

We are experienced exchangers, we already had 5 exchanges via Homelink and 2 with Haustauschferien.com in Belgium, the Netherlands, Scotland and Ireland.
We are looking forward to hear from you!

We enjoyed our stay at the Wendels. Their house had everything we needed and was idea for teenagers. The garden had a great space for eating outside. The Wendels left loads of great ideas for what to do in the area and we were able to enjoy many, varied days out within an hour of their house. Swimming in the local lakes was a family favourite. Highly Recommended.

HAVE EXCHANGE FOR 2020
It is a nice house with 4 rooms on two floors in a friendly neighbourhood along the old Aare river. You'll find all that you need for family holidays. We have two cats (they live mainly outside) and two small rabbits, but a neighbour can feed them if you prefer. The train station and the town center with every needed shopping facility is just 15 min (on foot) away. The motorway is 4 min away where you easy can get to Bern (Berner Oberland,Interlaken, Mountains) or Biel/Bienne with it's beautiful lake (Jura and the French part of Switzerland). Lyss is a nice small town with ideal to access the interesting points in Switzerland and to relax after an eventful day. If any help is needed, good friends live in Lyss.

Friendly elderly neighbours wich are always there to help! They like kids and don't bother when it gets loud sometimes. Very few traffic on the street in a quiet corner of our city. The freeway is near but not very loud. Preserve area and a small river next door.

Our nice Lido is in 10 min distance on foot. To the city center and shopping facilities you have to walk 15 - 10 min.
