The Thuringian Forest invites you to go hiking on the famous Rennsteig. In the Hainich National Park you can walk the treetop trail and in the small, fine wine region of Saale-Unstrut near the cosy town of Freyburg you can enjoy.

From 2023, the 49,- € ticket is valid for one month and covers the entire local transport system. This includes trains as well as buses, trams and suburban trains. This allows you to travel to other destinations such as Leipzig, Dresden and Berlin.
