We are two professionnal civil servants. Myself an administrator and my partner a teacher and violonist. Our children are adults and on their own we dispose of two homes with numerous empty bedrooms. We wish to allow visitors to travel in the comfort of a hospitable home while enjoying the same benefits in return.

The house in Quebec city was very nice, modern and clean. The garden on the river is relaxing and beautiful. The house is located in a very nice neighborhood, Cap Rouge. There is a gorgeous 2-3 km hiking path along the Cap Rouge river close to the house. There is also a nice beach hike along the St. Laurent river. Easy access to Quebec City, by car, 15 minutes away.

Our 3 bedrooms home is located in a high quality and quiet neighbourhood. Easily accessible by highway downtown is 15 km away. Less than a ten minute drive from the airport this house has all the facilities of a urban city ( buses, pharmacies, grocery stores, hospitals, banks and liquor store. Québec city is one of the oldest european cities in North America. The ramparts surrounding Old Québec are the only fortified city walls remaining in the Americas. It is recognized as a World Heritage site by UNESCO and was voted the best winter wonderland in North America by USA Today in 2016. It is one of the few remaining french speaking culture. Rich in cultural activities year round you will most certainly be charmed by this vibrant attractive historical city as are the 4,5 M tourists each year.

You might have followed the recent developments making Canada the second country to have legalized cannabis...the city is just as mind blowing wihout marijana!!

Cap-Rouge is situated in a confortable and safe urban area which by the St-Laurence river. Ten minutes away from the airport and close to highways, Old Québec is readily accessible by bus or car at less the a 15 km distance. Everything is within walking distance from our home : restaurants, pharmacies, grocery store, walking trails, golf course and marina.
Cap-Rouge has one of the most frequented walking trail in Quebec by the St-Laurence river. You can enjoy water activities by renting a kayak or a canoe at the marina at walking distance.
A great selection of well reputed restaurants and the voted nicest grocery store in Canada.

The marina is at walking distance. The quebec aquarium, the national museum of fine arts, the musem of Civilisation, Mont Ste-Anne, Stoneham, Village Val-Cartier and the most photographed hotel in the world... Chateau Frontenac.
