Koduvahetuseks pakutava kodu kirjeldus
Family friendly home on Vancouver Island, 3 hours by car from Victoria, 4 hours from Vancouver by car and ferry. Gently sloped beach near Miracle Beach Park & Mount Washington Ski Resort. Large forested lot and walk-on beach complete with bald eagles, deer, herons, seals, sea lions and the occasional killer whale. Opportunities for fishing, boating, hiking, swimming, paleontology, and caving. Two great museums and lots of wildlife nearby. 30 minutes from Courtenay or Campbell River, the 'Salmon Capitol of the World'. Many ways to explore First Nations culture.
This could be either a simultaneous exchange or a non-simultaneous exchange. Recommend exchange of vehicles. Includes the use of sea kayaks. Spin cast or fly fish for salmon off the beach in late August and September.

Ümbruskonna kirjeldus
We live on a no-though road that you access through a provincial park. It's a quiet neighbourhood with very friendly and helpful neighbours. All the homes are on large treed lots, and there are lovely walks and kayak trips from the house, and many recreational within a 30 minute drive.

Meie soovitused, kuhu minna ja mida teha ajal, kui viibite meie kodus
With the ocean at your front door, canoeing, kayaking and fishing are minutes away. Miracle Beach Provincial Park is a 10 minute walk away and has a sandy Beach, hiking, and educational programs. We are a 45 minute drive from the Mount Washington Ski Resort, which offers great skiing in the winter and excellent hiking and mountain biking in the summer. Whale-watching and Bear-watching trips start from Campbell River, which also has a museum rated in the top ten in Canada. In the fall you can "snorkle with the salmon", and there are rafting trips on the local rivers. A little farther north is Strathcona Park, a huge wilderness area with many recreational opportunities. 30 minutes south, the Comox Valley also provides good hiking, boating, and is known for paleontology. The area offers many golf courses and tennis courts.
