Hallo, welcome to our Homelink page! If you are looking forward to visiting the North-East of Italy, with its historic towns and green hills covered with vineyards and olive groves, as well as romantic Verona (10 km E), Unesco's cultural heritage, town of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and the annual Opera Summer Festival in the Roman Amphitheatre from June to Sept., or if you'd like to see beautiful Lake Garda's landscape (10 km W), Italy's biggest lake and the greatest tourist attraction in summer here (for swimming, sunbathing or for a walk in the old lanes of its picturesque towns), this might be the right place for you!

We own a comfortable house on three floors: kitchen, dining room with sitting room, 4 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms (+we can add 1-2 folding beds in the rooms if needed), studio/office, private garden with gazebo to relax/have dinner in the summer, lawn-swing etc. Party-room with fireplace downstairs. Sara's parents live next door.
- Fun & Culture: there are also plenty of outdoor fun pools and golf courses nearby in the greenery, several fun parks such as Gardaland (Italy's biggest fun park) 15 min. away by the lake, boat renting, lovely museums, great medieval castles etc.
- We are a family of four: parents + our two teen daughters: Linda (19) and Alice (17).
- We live in the friendly green town of Sommacampagna (8000 inhab.) on a hill by the town centre, 10 min. on foot from the main square (town hall, ice cream seller, bars, pizzerias, shops, banks, post office, church, public gardens)
- Venice and the seaside: 1 h. by car; mountains 30 min-1 h away
- Direct access to the motorway A4 (connecting Milan to Venice) and to the motorway A22 (connecting Modena to the Austrian border in the North)
- Car exchange is possible, especially if necessary in your area (it is in ours, as public transport is not so convenient)
- Garden and flowers are watered automatically, only some flowers need being extra watered every day
- We have no pets at the moment (but we used to have a cat)

We value mutual respect and care in using each other's homes. We like home-exchange especially as it creates a feeling of mutual confidence, family friendship and it's a unique experience of cultural exchange.
- We usually offer simultaneous exchanges
- Non-simultaneous swaps can be discussed (it may be possible if interested in the summer)
- Non-simultaneous swaps in spring/autumn: if you are interested in coming in periods when we are using the house (for ex. if you want to come to visit the annual International Vinitaly Fair, or the International Horse Fair in FieraVerona etc...) we can offer you accomodation in the underground floor (which has got a party room with kitchen and sitting room, where we can place some beds, and a bathroom with shower).
