I am living in a quiet area and a luminous apartment. I am very lucky as I live near a park, so my neighbors are birds and trees. My home is in the north on Nice, where there is wind so even when it is warm, there is always fresh air.
You also have gym club, public swimming pool, art center, groceries and public transportation (bus, tram, bikes). The beach is 20 mins by bus.
