Allan and Margaret were wonderful hosts and we felt very welcome from the moment we walked in the door. Their home is stunning and has loads of historic charm and character but with all the modern conveniences, including a jacuzzi in their lovely backyard. We enjoyed many of the area's fabulous restaurants but also did some meal prep at "home" in their big, bright, well-equipped kitchen. Safe, peaceful, beautiful neighbourhood just a stone's throw to numerous delightful amenities! Wonderful exchange.

Our family had nice holidays in the home of Margaret and Allan, situated in Capitol Hill in Seattle. We enjoyed the well equipped and well organized house which has a wonderful view from the front porch. We spent a lot of time in the the sunny garden, which has several sitting places and a jacuzzi! Margaret and Allan have friendly neighbours, especially Bruce. It is easy to go downtown by bus. We recommend the main attractions of Seattle, especially the famous Space Needle by day and by night, situated right next to the wonderful Chihuly glass garden. And we very much enjoyed the Boeing tour. Our seaplane scenic tour above the different lakes and the downtown skyline of Seattle was great! We loved going hiking in the National Parks of Mont Rainier and Olympican. We were impressed by old growth forests and wildflower meadows. Our trip to Vancouver, together with our German friends Heike and Gerd will be unforgettable. Sincere thanks to Margaret and Allan. Christine and Maurice
