Having run my own business until very recently, I am now retired and wish to spend time travelling, with a particular interest in visiting the UK as my daughter lives there. I have enjoyed several successful house exchanges in the past, though these no longer show since I recently renewed my membership.

Ours is a luxurious, modern, spacious home, in a private setting.
This is a light and airy, well equipped house with superb views of the Okanagan Lake, and is surrounded by mountains and beautiful countryside.
The lake is the central feature of the Okanagan landscape and it is just minutes from the door, dominating the spectacular views from almost all rooms in the house.
We have a large deck overlooking the lake and our lovely garden is frequently visited by deer, quail and chipmunks.
We are happy to make our car available as part of a car swap.

Quiet and friendly.
The house sits in a small, quiet group of homes above the lake, with easy access to the main highway, sited between the small town of Summerland and the lovely resort of Peachland. A car is essential and we would be happy to include our car as part of a car swap.

For all your essentials, the small town of Summerland is just a few minutes by car in one direction and the lovely resort of Peachland a few minutes the other way. The city of Penticton is just 20 minutes’ drive or for larger stores and shopping opportunities you may wish to visit Kelowna which is approximately 45 minutes away. If you want to explore further, then Vancouver and Seattle on the west coast are great options to consider.
The Okanagan is rightly famous for its wineries and fruit orchards. Many of the wineries have lovely restaurants attached for lunch or dinner opportunities and delicious fresh fruit in season is available from the many local fruit stands.
With numerous long and beautiful trails alongside rivers, lakes and a disused railway, through meadows and forests and over mountains there are endless possibilities for walking, cycling and running. The lake offers swimming, boating and more - with some lovely beaches for simply chilling along its shoreline too. If golf appeals to you, there are plenty of courses to choose from nearby, and in winter we also have great skiing at the nearby Apex resort which is accessible by car. Nearby lakes and rivers are open for public fishing.
The Okanagan climate is warm and dry from late spring through fall, with low humidity making the hotter summer temperatures even more enjoyable. The house is fully air conditioned which helps too!
In short, our Okanagan home makes a great base for those wishing an active holiday, a gourmet holiday or simply a chance to get away from it all.
