Koduvahetuseks pakutava kodu kirjeldus
We have a beautiful three floor home (2500 sq. ft), built in 2001. It has an open air design with high ceilings and lots of windows and natural light. We live on a hillside on the very west of Calgary facing Banff Park and the mountains, of which from our second floor balcony there is an unobstructed view of the beautiful Canadian Rockies! The lower floor is a walk out basement (including table tennis) that leads to an enclosed private backyard with a deck, barbecue, a maturing garden with many native wild species and two water features (a stream and waterfall). The main floor has the living areas; living room, kitchen, dining area with view of the mountains, washer/dryer, etc. The upper floor has three bedrooms including a large master bedroom complete with wonderful soaker tub. There is a private driveway at the front of the house to park a car.

Our home is located in a quiet, new neighbourhood on the northwest edge of the city. Access to the highway for the mountains is very easy and you can get to Banff in an hour. If you arrive by plane, it is a quick, navigationally friendly car ride on a major ring road to our doorstep. Public transport is very good as we are close to a bus stop (2 min walk) and have a new subway station which links you directly to downtown(30 minutes). There are many biking/walking paths right outside our door and we have two mountain bikes for your use. You can also use our community centre membership to access our private tennis courts, park, games room, etc. There is a large grocery store about 6 minutes walk away and a fast food outlet. Unfortunately, as we are in a new suburb, there are no restaurants within easy walking distance. However, there are at least 30 places to eat within 10-15 minutes drive.

In the summer, Calgary is known for having nice stretches of warm days with big blue skies and little or no rain. As such, in periods of dry such as this we'd ask that you water outside plants once a week please. Easy to do.
