We greatly enjoyed our visit to Somona County and the opportunity to stay in the Meirik's comfortable and spacious home in the midst of the vineyards. We loved the scenic countryside of Somona, the opportunity to visit a number of wineries and to visit the rugged Pacific coast. We had everything we needed for a pleasant stay and it was no trouble caring for the Simon (the cat) and the chickens. We greatly enjoyed becoming friends with Simon and giving him some loving attention in the evenings. The Meiriks provided plenty of information to get us settled and were quick to respond to a few additional questions that arose during our stay.
