At the end of our street, conservation land supervised by the Audubon Society is great for walks/bikes/birding. We are close to beautiful bike paths, swimming ponds and the Connecticut River for water sports. Stroll downtown to explore boutique shops and restaurants. Grab a bench and ice cream for people watching, or take in a show at one of many performance venues. Visit the museum and botanical garden at Smith college or hop on a bike to cross the river for spectacular water and farm views.
Our location not only affords access to stunning rural landscapes but to major urban centers as well. We are 1.5 hours from Boston and New Haven, 3 hours from New York, and 1 hour from the Berkshires and the White Mountains. Summer theatre, music and art are outstanding in the whole region. Jacobs Pillow Dance, MASS MOCA, Tanglewood, Williamstown Theatre and more are all here. Northampton offers many local riches and can also serve as a relaxing home-base for exploring the region.
