Our 2-bedroom apartment is located on the East River waterfront in Long Island City, Queens, a 5-minute walk to the subway. From the subway, it is just one stop across the East River to Grand Central Terminal (Midtown) and 3 stops to Times Square. Just across from our building is a beautiful waterfront park and boardwalk with stunning views of midtown Manhattan. Our neighborhood has an amazing small-town feel, which is unusual for a location so close to the "center of it all." Vernon Boulevard, which has cafes and restaurants, is a 5-minute walk from our apartment. In the building is a 24-hour fitness center, a playroom for children, a roof deck with grills, and a lounge.
