We are 45 mins by train to London and 15 mins by train to Brighton. The picturesque village of Lindfield has won a number of awards as Best Kept Village in West Sussex. This is a family home built in the 1960s. It is a link semi-detached house with 5 bedrooms over two floors. There is one main bathroom, and two additional toilets. We have a small back garden but ample green areas on Finches Gardens and two play areas very close to the house. The local station of Haywards Heath is 25 min walk away or 5 min by car. There are also local buses at the end of Finches Gardens which stop directly outside the train station. We also have easy access to Ashdown National Park and The South Downs Way with superb views from Ditchling Beacon.

Lovely Lindfield village boasts an array of traditional shops including a renowned butcher, a bakery, a post office, a local supermarket, gift shops and tea shops. At the end of the village there is a delightful village pond filled with large fish and plenty of ducks. The recreation ground across the high street has a modern children's play area, tennis courts and an historic cricket ground with its own clubhouse. A second recreational play area can be enjoyed at the end of Finches Gardens. Along the High Street there a number of specialist restaurants; Italian, Thai, 3 pubs and various bistros. The nearest town is Haywards Heath (5 mins by car, or 15 mins by bus) which has a range of high street shops, library, train station and a leisure centre. 'National Trust properties are easily accessed by car; Wakefield House (3 miles), Sheffield Park (4 miles); Nymans Garden (5 miles), Standen (7 miles). Other gardens include; Borde Hill (2 miles), High Beeches Gardens (5 miles) & Ditchling Common Country Park (5 miles).
The South of England Showground (3 miles) hosts antiques fairs, and county shows http://www.seas.org.uk/ and the Bluebell Railway is an attraction for steam train enthusiasts http://www.bluebell-railway.co.uk/. Horse riding (http://www.riding-schools.com/c/west-sussex/haywards-heath/tremaines-riding-stables/) is 10 mins away and there are 5 golf courses within a ten mile radius of Lindfield (http://www.royalashdown.co.uk/) . Water sports (3 miles car) and the local cinema in Crawley (30 min car) are both easily accessed. See links below.
