Our home is a recently refurbished four-bedroom family apartment located on the second floor of a traditional Edinburgh apartment building.

Situated in a quiet residential street in Marchmont it is just a pleasant short stroll through the picturesque Meadows Park to reach Edinburgh’s historic Old Town with Edinburgh Castle, National Museum, farmer's market and Art Galleries. A Victorian swimming baths with gym is located right across the street and there are also a variety of shops and cafes on the doorstep. The vibrant and cosmopolitan area of Bruntsfield with lots of independent shops, cafes and restaurants is also only a 10 minute walk away.

The apartment comprises three spacious double bedrooms and a single bedroom. There is a large south facing living room with bay window to the front overlooking the cobbled street. The spacious contemporary kitchen with breakfast bar and dining space overlooks the mature garden to the rear. The kitchen is fully equipped with all mod cons including ovens, dishwasher, microwave, fridge / freezer and Nespresso coffee machine etc. The bathroom, decorated in a Victorian style has a shower over the compact bath.

The laundry facilities of washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & ironing board are located in the kitchen and associated stores. We have central heating throughout with cast iron radiators in all rooms. We do not have air conditioning as it is not needed in Scotland! The traditional sash and case windows open in all rooms to provide natural ventilation.

There is a large communal garden to the rear which has a picnic table, swings, slide and a trampoline. On street car parking is available to the front of the apartment, although we can get visitor parking permits if needed.
