We had a great stay at Becky and Christian's cozy place. The house is huge and very comfortable for a family of 5, like ours. The location was great for visiting Bristol and the surrounding area. We made all sorts of cultural and natural activities; we did the research of Banksy graffiti in Bristol, a trekking in Cheddar's Gorge, visited the Roman baths in Bath, Wells and Salsbury’s Cathedrals and the Stonehenge site. We even went to Cardiff, in Wales, which is quite close to Almondsbury. Our family’s experience has been very nice and varied. The communication and understanding with the exchange family has been very good and easy, and the short meeting at the airport very cool.

We enjoyed an excellent mini-break in Bristol, with Becky and Christian’s lovely modern home in Almondsbury the perfect base. As well as providing easy access to the city and the surrounding countryside, their house was so comfortable and an easy place to relax and feel at home.

The Wales family house is really beautifully furnished and has a large garden. Fortunately, as we had good weather, we could also enjoy the garden. The house is very bright and Becky has put a lot of effort into the decor. It was a pleasure to lie on the couch and enjoy the view. We made many trips to the surrounding area. We particularly enjoyed the south coast of Wales and the capital Cardiff. All the best and many greetings from Lake Constance.

We had a lovely week exploring the Wye Valley, Bath and Bristol area. Great location to access main road links. Beautiful, spacious and light home and we made the most of the large garden with a secret path to fields. Becks and Christian were great too - good communication, super friendly and we can't recommend them and their home enough.

Becky and Christian have a lovely home in a small village on the outskirts of Bristol. It's very very well located to explore Bristol, Bath, Wales, and all other surrounding areas. The downstairs area is a great space to relax and spend time in the huge garden if the English weather permits! We loved the local recommendations they left us and were excellent at communicating throughout the exchange. We'd love to swap again in the future with this lovely family!

We had a very enjoyable half term exploring the SW, and Becky and Christian's beautiful home in Almondsbury made a great base to explore the area. Sadly there was a storm during the stay so we couldn't use the fantastic garden, but it looked brilliant for kids. The house is a short distance from Bristol, which has many interesting places to visit including We are Curious, Bristol Aquarium and Brunel's SS Great Britain. Whilst we were there we also visited and really enjoyed Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Bath, especially the Roman Baths, all of which were a pleasant drive away. It is also 90 minutes from London by train. We would definitely recommend an exchange, the house and garden are beautiful and the exchange process with Becky and Christian went smoothly from beginning to end.

This was our first house swap and the house, family and location were a great start. Their house is modern, clean and bright and we found it easy to cook our meals here. We were made to feel very welcome and felt relaxed in their home. Our house was left clean and tidy. The garden is lovely and the children enjoyed playing out. The local area is quiet and and the views while out and about are amazing, there are several local pubs/restaurants. We visited Cheddar Gorge, Clevedon and Bristol City which was all easily accessible. There is so much to do in Bristol that we were spoilt for choice. We visited SS Great Britain and The M Shed which are both great for families. In Cheddar we enjoyed the cave and the walk and views at the top of the gorge. We had great weather for our stay and visited the pier in Clevedon and walked along the prom and climbed to the top of the look out.
