Our Apartment is located in an old-style house from the 18th century. You forget the time here, don't hear any noise and enjoy the beautiful medieval German town of Heidelberg. You can relax in this beautiful district where you have the most impressive old buildings around you. Children find a huge playground surrounded by old trees just opposite our home. But you can also be very active, go through town by bike or go hiking in the surrounding forest Odenwald or even go on a Segways' tour to discover the little ancient streets, enjoy a full program of cultural events on the historic castle. The market place (with a weekly market on Wednesdays and Saturdays) is 200m away. The district is filled with little Cafés and great atmosphere, where you get to know some of the German culture from its nicest side ;-) Just have a quick look at www.heidelberg.de
In our direct neighourhood is the "Pfalz" - a region which is famous for the wine that is growing there. It also is a wonderful place for hiking or just enjoying life with a glas of good wine, life music and a typical regional snack. We are looking forward to your visit.
