Our flat is an old building (1888) but newly renovated. There is an open mindes neighborhood with lots of supermarkets close by.
Our home is located in Frankfurts wonderful part called Sachsenhausen. In Alt-Sachsenhausen (old town) you can find all the typical "Apfelwein" bars. Most of the tourists come here to drink an "Äppler" (cider), eat green sauce with egg and Schnitzel and sit close to the River Main. You are perfectly connected to most of the big central station in Frankfurt and even in Germany. On one hand you have a big city forest and calm areas and on the other hand, you can reach the city center within 10 minutes. The big shopping mal Zeil is only 2 kilometers away and even the skyline with its impressing buildings is reachable by not even 15 minutes by bike.
