Koduvahetuseks pakutava kodu kirjeldus
Our home is about 4 km south of the medieval centre of Muenster. The city of Muenster is situated in the beautiful Muensterland with its park-landscape, its moated castles and horse breeding. In 2004 the city won the livcom-award as the most liveable community of the world. Furthermore Munster is known as the capital of bicyclists. So the most cultural events you can reach by bike.
We live in the ground floor of a two family house. In our flat is space for 2-4 persons. The second sleeping-room is very small, when the sofa-bed is build up, and therefore only suitable for sleeping. There is more space in a caravan in the garden, what is very nice in summer time to stay in.
Because Munster is a university-city with over 50.000 students, it is a very young and vivid city, and you will not have any problems to find english-speaking people.
You have easy access to the cities of the Ruhr-area, which was the European Capital of Culture of the year 2010 within ca. 1 hour by train or car.
Certainly the nearest airport is Munster/Osnabruck (FMO). Cheaper and about 1 to 1 1/2 hours far from Munster is Dortmund (DTM) or Duesseldorf (DUS).
We for ourselves don`t smoke. You may do that, if you like, outside in the garden or patio.
We have got a well-trained dog, which we would like to take with us, but we also can leave her with neighbours. No problem.
You can load your electric car at the wallbox in our garage.
We are always open for one or more short weekend-swaps to the Netherlands.

Muenster city center is very charming with its cathedral, the market on Saturdays, with some fine museums and some bigger or smaller theatres.
Cycling through the Muensterland is the best we can offer you. It´s not exhausting and you can discover the beautiful area with its moated castles and other attractions.
