Very functional appartment to host a family or friends : a room with a double bed and a sofa bed in the living room, kitchen with all equipment and many books to read in French ! In addition to the collection of books, you will be able to listen to French and other World music with all the CDs we have, even play music yourself with the guitars and the cajon, and play board games.
We traveled so our flat reflects who we are with ornaments from our trips.
The building is in the back of the courtyard so very quiet despite the lively neighbourood (Ménilmontant), with many places to have diner from all over the world or to listen to live music. We live at the 4th floor so it's very sunny. Our neighbours are very nice, so you could ask them if you need anything.
You can park you car for free in the courtyard, which is very valuable in Paris !
We've leaved for 4 years in this appartment and we love it ! We would be very happy to make you enjoy Paris from our home.

There is everything you can need with typical cheese shops, wine shops, butcheries, florist, restaurants, bars, concert halls, etc. This is the heart of Paris !
Our appartment is 2 minutes-walking from a subway station (Ménilmontant on line 2) but you can do many things on foot :
- 10 minutes-walk : you can go to Belleville and the park (to see the view on Paris and the Eiffel tower from the Belvédère) or Père Lachaise cemetery
- 20 minutes-walk : you can go to the great Parc des Buttes Chaumont or Canal St Martin
- 30 minutes-walk : you can go to Place de la Bastille or Le Marais

Paris is made of a multitude of neighbourhoods. Ours is the 20ème arrondissement, which is a popular neighbourood. People like it because it's very lively, with many places to go out : romantic restaurants on a rooftop or with a small terrace with candles, bars with live music and cheap bear (3€ a pint !!), wine and cheese bars, etc. You can also wander in the streets to see street arts and tiny alleyways with plants and cats having a nap. You can also do like Parisian people if it's sunny : having a picnic in Parc de Belleville, Parc des Buttes Chaumont or along the Canal St Martin. And if it's rainy, you will love the Père Lachaise cemetery !
We are also quite close to turistic places to see : Cathédrale Notre-Dame, Musée du Louvre, etc. but there are also plenty of less famous museums and sights that we would love to share with you.
We were not born in Paris but we are in love with this city that can gives you what you like !

Nothing is very valuable in our home but many things have a soulful story so take care of it :)
We are a couple with no kid so our flat is not very suitable for kids, but that's up to you. We are ok with cats or small pets but our flat is quite small so it wouldn't be very nice for a dog.
