We live in the center of the Haute Savoie, near to the Alps. Our house is in Argonay 6 km north to Annecy and about 35 km to the border of Geneva. (Switzerland) The bus connection to Annecy is very good. The bus station is near behind our house. Near to our home you will find soccer, tennis, pump tracking, petanque and block trotting. Annecy is a very touristic region, one of the best places to live in France. You can enjoy the old town (middle age) of Annecy, the rivers, the lake and the mountains.. Participate in a Annecy city tour (annecycitytour.fr) or visit the lake by ship. ( bateaux-annecy.com) If you want, you can enjoy a vol panoramic by helicopter (gyrocopter.fr) or you can make a rest in nice beaches around the lake. You can enjoy a lot of outdoor sport like: paragliding, cycling, walking in the mountains, adventure parks, sailing and canyoning, Block Trotter, golfing and a lot more. Here are a lot of museums and restaurants. We can't tell you where is the best restaurant, because there are about 100's in the town and around the lake. (Le Freti, La Ciboulette, Capt'n Pub, Le Petit Prince, Le Clocher and also some restaurants with Michelin Star. Our tourist office offers Annecy like a vibrant locale and visual jewel.
