We own a holiday home in Greece, in Saronida, near Athens; that is a two-storey house, with large outside spaces, a terrace with barbecue, a covered terrace, a garden and a wonderful view on the Aegean Sea. The seaside is downhill, about 800 meters from the house. The coast below is rich in several small bays. While being a holiday home, the house is well fitted out. Built in a Cycladic style by a fine architect, it has big rooms giving onto the sea and a large living room with a stone floor and a fireplace. A bus leading to the centre of Athens leaves from the seaside every 20-30 minutes.
In fifteen or twenty minute you can arrive at Cape Sounion with its ancient Poseidon?s Temple. The road to this place is a scenic route alone the coast where you can find several small and big restaurants, with typical Greek dishes of fish and meat.
