4th floor 95 sq meters apartment, luminous, in 1930s apartment building in Trastevere, in the very heart of monumental Rome, but in quiet zone, surrounded by gardens. Ours is the only 1930s international style apartment building (by Adalberto Libera) in the historic centre. There are two balconies and light on three sides.
We have had many exchanges over the years and they all worked very well.
We are within walking distance of the Janiculum hill with its breathtaking view, the Botanical Garden and Villa Farnesina with Raphael paintings, the Tiber island and the Roman ghetto. Piazza Farnese, Campo dei Fiori and Piazza Navona are all just a short walk away. Trastevere is one of the most charming neighborhoods of Rome, a real jewel full of history with its small alleys, magnificent churches, the taste of a village daily life, cafés , restaurants and cinemas. When tired of monumental sites and tourist attractions you can relax in Villa Pamphili. Or take one of the ferries that along the river Tiber take you all the way down to the ancient town of Ostia.
