Dear Giada and family, we felt so well in your home, inside and outside. The house is tastefully decorated and has a lot of space. The kitchen had all for good cooking. We enjoyed this a lot. The weather was so nice that we could eat all our meals outside under the tree and with wonderful view over the peaceful land. The environs are fantastic. We did nearly all by bike: Amelia, Lugnano, Dunarobba, Bomarzo .... Only Narni we visited by car. It has been a great time. Molto grazie Johannes and Irene

We had a wonderful exchange in Amelia, Umbria this summer. Guida and Simon were most helpful and kind and let us stay in contact all throughout the exchange to answer practical questions and offer advice. Amelia is a beautiful midieval town atop of a mountain. We rented a car in Rome and drove around Umbria - the landscape is incredibly beautiful. More so than the more famous region of Tuscany, in my opinion. From Amelia, so many great cities are within a drive that is mangeable back and forth the same day. We visited Firenze and Siena in Tuscany - but Orvieto in Umbria is our favority. Doing our vacation over again, I would have visited Tuscany on another trip and visited even more places in Umbria. There are so much to see! And of course great food and wine. Thank for a wonderful stay, Guida and Simon.

The second half of July we stayed in this spacious and comfortable home for two weeks and we had a good time. Inside it was cool in this renovated former farmhouse, great garden to relax under the tree with a fine view for miles around. We made trips to Rome, Orvieto and Florence and had a pleasant mix of the peace and quiet of nature around the house and the busy places of interest.
