Lissycasey (Irish: Lios Uí Chathasaigh, meaning "ringfort of the Caseys") is a village in County Clare, Ireland. The village straddles the N68 Ennis-Kilrush road for some 3.5 km. Ennis is our local town 20 minute drive and Shannon airport would be our closed airport. Within our county you must visit Bunratty Castle, the Burren National Park, Cliffs of Moher, Ailwee Caves, head to Doolin(for the trad Sessions - music) and take a ferry to the Aran Islands. There are many golf courses in County Clare, The 2019 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open will be played at Lahinch Golf Club from July 4-7, 2019, (30 minute drive) and Trump International Golf club is also near by. When you want to move out of our county You can get a ferry which is a 30 minute drive from our house and this will bring you to county Kerry where you can visit Killarney National Park, Tralee - renowned for the Rose of Tralee, Dingle. The Ring of Kerry is part of the mystical & unspoilt region of Ireland that has attracted visitors for hundreds of years and is part of the Wild Atlantic Way. Galway is a 90 minute drive from our house and is a beautiful city and Limerick is 60 minute drive. There are so many places to visit when ye come to Ireland and our house is an ideal location for a quiet peaceful break but also for touring to other places.
