My Home comprises of a kitchen, dining room, living room and a double bedroom and a small bathroom downstairs. Upstairs there is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom (2 single beds) and a main bathroom with bath and an electric shower. There is a large trampoline for the kids and a basket ball hoop in the garden area and bikes available. A cot bed can also be made available.
The central heating system is gas and thermostatically controlled. The house is very convenient with a variety of shops only 1 minute away for all your everyday needs while on your stay.
My Home is located 8km from the city centre with a regular bus service and the train station nearby which will bring you into the city in 30 / 50 minutes. If you have a car, the drive is just 20 minutes into the city. Easy access to the M50 ring road around the city and convenient for accessing the national roads. The house is located in a mature neighborhood and is a quite residential area. The village of Blanchardstown is just less than 5 minutes walk away and Castleknock village is 15 minutes walk. The Áras an Uachtaráin, (President of Ireland's residence) and the Phoenix Park is just 20 minute walk away.

All houses in the neighborhood were built in the 1970's, so the house has been refurbished and modernized in recent years. The house is very convenient with shops nearby. 1 minute walk away is a Tesco supermarket, pharmacy, hairdressers, newsagents, beauticians, Boutique, fish monger, cafe, pub, take away (pizza & Chinese).

While you are staying here, you can plan day trips to Blessington lakes, Glendalough in the Wicklow mountains which is just 40 minutes from the house, Belfast city to the North and Galway city and Sligo town to the West coast are 2 hours drive away and a charming places to visit. If you have children, you can visit Emerald (Tayto) amusement park which is just 20 minutes away. Blanchardstown shopping centre with hundreds of shops and the Driocht Theatre and Library are all within walking distance from the house. There is a local pool 'Coolmine centre' nearby and you can pay per visit to use the facilities. There are also many historical sight to see in the area including the Hill of Tara and Trim Castle which are just 30 minutes from the house.There are many parks with playgrounds nearby, Waterville and Millenium and the largest par is the Phoenix park with a visitors centre and Farmleigh house with its weekend farmers markets. There are public tennis courts 3 minutes away and the royal canal is great for a bike ride, which brings you into the northside of the city centre with nice coffee shops along the way for little coffee breaks.
Easy access and less than an hour away by train or 30 minutes by car is Howth Harbour with its stunning cliff walks and views, Portmarnock beach, Malahide Castle and the Botanic Gardens. We love our home and ask that it will be treated with respect. We want it returned as clean and tidy as we left it. We will take good care of your home too and return it just as clean and tidy. Our home is a non-smoking house so smoking is not allowed and no pets please.
