In a quiet area in the center on a 19th century canal, a stone’s throw away from the Jordaan and four of Amsterdam’s most famous markets (free ranch/ecological market and flee market on the Noordermarkt and the Jordaan market on the Lindengracht on Saturday, flee market and fabric- and -clothes market on de Westerstraat on Monday). Ten minutes from the famous Nine Streets and ten minutes by bike or tram to the Museum area. Very close to Westerpark (hip new area with industrial architecture, cinema, restaurants, terraces, bars and great new park) and a fifteen minutes walk from the Central Station.
You can sit/have breakfast, lunch or dinner on the veranda in summer and when it gets chilly warm yourself at the woodstove. I love to cook and the kitchen is well equipped. You will have two bikes at your disposal (by far the best way to explore Amsterdam). Toilet and bathroom are separate.
