UNIQUE! A floating house on the river Vecht!
A complete houseboat with two floors and all the luxuries of a normal house with 150 m2 of living space. The 3 bedrooms and bathroom are below water level.
The view on the river Vecht from the living room and kitchen never bores.
The house is situated a 20 min. drive into the center of Amsterdam or Utrecht; peace and quiet in Vreeland and all the excitement of Amsterdam and Utrecht nearby.

Vreeland is tiny village with about 1100 inhabitants. Absolutely picturesque and worth visiting. It is a well loved area by people who work in Amsterdam. The attraction is of course the beautiful river Vecht. You can simply stay at home and enjoy the sitting on the deck sipping your wine or watch the children play in the water.
Water sports and swimming is everywhere. Your swimming pool is just one jump away. Walking can be done right from the house but forests an the mores are a 15 min drive away.

From the house it is a 10 minutes walk to our local restaurant "Lokaal Zuid". The village supermarket is the same distance.
The house is situated in a touristy area with lots of water sports activities and lots of swimming possibilities. Cycling, walking; everything is possible
If you want culture and/or the big city, Amsterdam and Utrecht are close by.
At half an hour drive you find Laren, is a very nice small town worth visiting with out of the ordinary shops and nice restaurants and cafe's.
Then of course there is typical Volendam, Marken an many other nice towns as Gouda, Hoorn, Haarlem, Den Haag, Delft, Leiden. The fantastic Dutch sea side with its great beach hangout and restaurants is never far away; Scheveningen, Katwijk, Noordwijk and a bit more quiet but further away, arty Bergen.
