High alpine tours, savage gorges, cable cars or relaxing hiking trails. Germany´s highest mountain, Zugspitze, can be reached on foot or by cable car from Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Skiing is beautiful there in winter. In summer great biking trails lead you through the pittoresque moor, the Alps offer countless mountain biking trails. You can go from our house for a walk or run and within 2 min you find yourself in great and beautiful nature. Three lakes with warm and soft water are surrounding Murnau. This town has kept its specific bohemian athmosphere from the times of "Der blaue Reiter". G.Münter and W. Kandinsky´s house is right around the block and displays with another museum great pieces of European Expressionsm. Famous Rokkoko churches and castles are in driving distance.
