Our family consist of Elsemarie(49), Anders(52), Emil(20), Kirstine(17) & Daniel(12). * Emil has just finished high school. He loves kayaking, playing guitar/band & gaming on his computer. He also works at Lidl. * Kirstine is in high school and active playing football. She is also playing keyboard/band. * Daniel is in 6th grade. He is taking violin classes. Besides this he is loves playing football and relaxing with his PS4 * Elsemarie is working as doctor (Managing consultant). She loves playing golf, gardening & cooking. She is also working on publishing a book about silver cutlery * Anders is working as business controller for a media company. He likes kayaking and running. * As a family we love traveling and have had 9 succesfull exchanges so far - Spain(19), Germany(18), Austria(17), Canada(15), Copenhagen(13), Switzerland(13), UK(12), France(11), Belgium(10). We have travelled to all continents to about 60 countries.

The holiday house is located close to the sea surround by forrest and lovely nature. The sea is visible, 200 meter away. The holiday house is located in front of a large green area with soccer field & play ground for kids. The little area consist of approx. 75 holiday houses.
The 80 sq. meter summer house has 3 bedrooms and is good for 6 people. The Kitchen is integrated with the dinner area and living room. In front facing the sea is a 21 sq. meter covered terrace. The house has a bathroom with shower & sauna. It include a washing machine & dryer. Furthermore a 15 sq. meter room for storage, tools & bikes etc.
The house was built in 1975, but has been renovated in 2008/2021. Heating is integrated in the tile flour combined with the wood stove (with plenty of wood). High speed internet in the house (200Mbit) with wifi/chome cast.
The house is located on a 600 sq. meter ground with 2 terraces, barbecue grill and outside table & washing facilities for fishing.

Andkær Vig is a small and idyllic holiday area by the southern shores of the inlet Vejle Fjord, a few km from the town Vejle. "Vig" meaning Bay in Danish. Andkær Vig is a very scenic area surrounded by lovely nature with forest. In the middle is a little cosy small area with a few summerhouse from the 70´s.
The sea has lot of possibilities beside watching & feeling the fresh air or swimming from the bathing jetty. The area is good for kayaking or wind surfing. The bay has also several good fishing spots. In the forest the paths is limited used, you have a feeling that you are alone in the forest. There are good opportunities for walking, running or biking. If you like golfing, then Vejle Golf Club is just 5-6K away.
Vejle is 12K away (with a beautiful road along the inlet). Vejle is a beautiful and cosy commercial town with many interesting shops, good restaurants and cultural offers. Vejle has about 50.000 inhabitant.

ATTRACTIONS AROUND ANDKÆR VIG:
* Vejle (12K) - is the closest city with several shopping possibilities etc.
* Fredericia (20K) - is a larger town surrounded by a moat (the largest in North Europe)
* Middelfart (30K) - Middelfart is a cosy town of just 15.000 inhabitant. There is however plenty to see and do in Middelfart. If you enjoy outdoor activities there are stunning coastline walks along the sea, several bicycle paths, golf, water sports, and boat trips for fishing or whale watching. Other activities in Middelfart include Bridge Walking and CLAY - the largest ceramic museum in Scandinavia. I love the town and live here :-)
* Kolding (35K) - with the historical Koldinghus - a 13th century castle & museum / Slotssøbadet - great swimmingpool.
* Legoland (40K) - The worldknown theme park started here in 1969 in Billund right next to the corporate HQ and home of Lego.
* Odense (75K) - The 3rd. largest city in DK - offers good shopping, restaurants and cafes, theatres, museums and a zoo. It is the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen and you can visit his home, which is now a museum in the quaint old quarter of the city.
* Aarhus (80K) - The 2nd. largest city a modern & vibrant city with has 3 impressive museums - Den gamle by (the old city), Moesgaard (prehistoric & viking museum) and AROS - Aarhus Art museum.
* Copenhagen (230K) - The capital of Denmark with lots of interesting thing to do...
