We had a wonderful time in Antwerp. The house is very central, easy to walk everywhere. Swapping was super easy and we would always do it again...

Thank you so much for this amazing home exchange! After meeting in person at Tinnes house for a short introduction to the house and the exchange of keys, we started discovering the area. Antwerp is, of course, wonderful with so many restaurants, bars, markets and so on. We loved it! The area where Tinne lives the neighbourhood is culturally very diverse which leads to interesting shops and restaurants. We especially like one Iraqi bakery. The city of Antwerp has a very simple way of bike renting where you can easily take a bike out of one of the many bike stations and ride for half an hours (or more) for very little money. The bikes are fine. As we had also brought a children’s bike with us and were allowed to use Tinnes lady’s bike, that was our method of going places. The house is cozy and there are also some board games and toys. We loved the patio where we could spend a lazy afternoon in the hammock. When we came back home, we found our cats well fed and happy and the house super tidy and clean. We recommend it!

We had a really good time in Antwerp. There is so much to see and do, with the lovely historic part of the town, the harbour, the cathedral, the new quarters like het Eilandje, interesting museums... Tinnes house is central and very close to the Metro and to lots of shops and restaurants of all different kinds. You can also walk to the station (one of the most beautiful stations of the world, by the way!) into the city centre and to the harbour. The house of Tinne was for us the ideal location to explore Antwerp. The house is only 5 minutes away from the nearest metro station that brought us to the city in a few minutes. The bathroom is spacious and well equipped. The direct neighborhood has a wide variety of shops and even on Sunday morning we could easily arrange a fresh breakfast. For sure we had a great and memorable time.

Our house was in best hands during our absence. We were glad you looked after the animals and the garden. Thank you very much dear Tinne!
