We are a retired couple who enjoy travelling around Australia with our caravan, as well as travelling through Europe and other parts of the world. We enjoy dancing, kayaking, golf and following all sporting events. We keep our home in "A One" condition and would respect your home the same way. We would leave an ex changer's home as we would leave our's for you.

Meie kodu
Koduvahetuseks pakutava kodu kirjeldus
Modern, large, double brick & tile home on a compact rear block with no lawn. It has three large bedrooms and two bathrooms - ensuite with corner twin spa and separate powder room. Master bedroom has a king bed, second bedroom has a queen and third has a single bed. House is open plan with reverse cycle air conditioning/heating, solar hot water and solar panels producing power. Polished floorboards throughout living and carpets to bedrooms. Keyboard & guitar in family room. We have an enclosed alfresco area with an outdoor setting and outside, a hooded BBQ. House is comfortably furnished and equipped. We are 5km from Fremantle, from where the cruise ships leave, about 45 minutes drive to Mandurah, 6km to the beach and 15km to Perth CBD. Within walking distance to shopping centre, bus route and amenities.

We live in a quiet street with very friendly neighbours who "look out" for each other. Our house is on a rear block so is very peaceful. Some restaurants and café are within walking distance also the shopping centre. We have a small easy care garden with herbs, so it doesn't take much work to maintain.

Restaurants and cafes within walking distance so you can enjoy your wine and no need to drive home. Fremantle 5km away with many eateries, museums, shopping, cruise ship port, historic buildings including the famous Fremantle Prison. Fremantle departures for Rottnest Island getaways or day trips. Rockingham is 30 mins drive for day trip to Penguin Island. The beaches and river are very close for any water sports and fishing. Two golf clubs, bowling clubs and tennis clubs are nearby. We are about 40 mins to the famous Swan Valley wine region and about 3 hours drive south to Margaret River wineries and tourist region. Many people are unaware that Western Australia offers a sunny climate all year round. Many Perth people travel north in the winter months ( April- September) and follow the sun. The northern part of Western Australia has tropical seasons, being a wet summer and dry winter. Hence we leave the cooler weather behind and go north for winter. This region has many beautiful tourist attractions. Coral Bay, Exmouth, Broome, the Pilbara region, Karinjini National Park, Millstream, Bungle Bungles, Mt Augustus.Horizontal Falls, and many beautiful gorges. Temperatures up north in the 30's for winter. So come and give it a go, I know you will love it. We are regularly up north when not house swapping.

It is very important that we find our home neat, clean and in the same condition as we left it, as we would leave yours also. We would expect our home to be treated with respect as you would treat your own. We have a large collection of antique china teapots, all behind glass and would like to say "Nice to look at, but please do not touch". We know our guests will be comfortable in our home and we want them to enjoy their stay.
