Beautiful old sandstone home in Sydney's eastern suburbs, five minutes from one of the city's best beaches at Bronte. Leafy Centennial Park is less than 10 minutes walk away. The house is on a wide street, on top of the hill ,where it catches cool summer sea breezes. Built in 1885 and renovated just a couple of years ago, it has a 5m x 5m master bedroom with balcony and marble bathroom, plus three other bedrooms and a second bathroom. Downstairs is a wide entrance hall, huge double drawing room and dining room, gourmet kitchen, TV room and laundry, and third bathroom/toilet. There is also a separate studio above the double garage, which we use as a study and spare bedroom. We have all mod cons: 2 digital flat screen TVs, stereo, two computers, broadband and wireless internet, washing machine, dryer, washing-up machine, 5-burner gas cooker with double oven, etc, etc. We're hoping to arrange a Xmas holiday in New Zealand but open to swaps in Australia or anything exciting anywhere
