We live in a quiet residential neighbourhood, located only 1.5 kilometres from the main shopping district. We are friends with all of our neighbours and they are all lovely people who are happy to help out if ever needed.

Echuca (population 15 000) boasts the facilities of a much larger town due the frequent influx of tourists seeking the warm Mediterranean climate and to enjoy the many activities on the mighty Murray River. Moama (population 5600) is our twin town located across the Murray River in New South Wales.

There are seven primary schools and four high schools within Echuca and Moama. There is a university in Bendigo.

We live less than 1 kilometre from the Murray River with easy access walking or riding through the Banyule State Forest. There are hundreds of mountain bike and walking tracks through the forest. We frequently see kangaroos, and many Australian birds.

Echuca is a flat town easy to cycle around. We have frequent bus and train connections to the larger cities of Bendigo, 88 kilometres away and Melbourne, 200 kilometres away. There are also connections to Melbourne Airport. There are also flights to Sydney from Bendigo Airport.
