  Gwen and Steff's home was very comfortable, the back garden was secluded and sunny and we enjoyed listening to the chickens clucking! The area is beautiful, we particularly enjoyed exploring on their bikes, beside the lake, along the Loire River to Bouchemain and into Angers itself. We also visited several stunning chateaux in the area, including Plessis Bourre, Brissac and Saumur. The Japanese Garden at Maulevrier is stunning. Thank you Gwen and Steff for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.

  We're very happy to have traded our home with this warm and welcoming home and people. Home is close to the city centre as well as parks and off course the lake at walking distance! All was available for a relaxed holiday. A big thanks to Gwenn, Steph and family!

  We felt very much at home here. Our hosts prepared a lovely welcome and a lot of information on the region. It was a bit too cold to sit in the garden yet, but in warmer days it must be great as well. Their house is cosy and well situated. We went to the city centre and the beautiful Angers castle on foot. And of course there are so many beautiful things to visit in the region! A great exchange, I would certainly recommend!

• Relaxing exchange in Angers

  We really enjoyed the stay at Stef's and Gwen's and their children's home. Its location is superb near the center of Angers and still in a quiet area. We had bikes that we could use to get downtown and elsewhere. Their home is really nice with a big garden. The area is surrounded by beautiful castles and many wineyards and other places of interest, of which they provided lots of brochures and other information at home. We truly recommend the exchange with the family and their home.

  Muchas gracias a Stephanie y Gwenaelle por pasar unos 15 días muy agradables en su casa, amplia, muy confortable y luminosa. Situada en una zona muy tranquila y cerca del centro, nos permitió realizar bonitas excursiones a Amboise, Samur, Chinon, Tours, Clisson, Nantes y los castillos del Loira..... Nos agradó mucho cuidar de su jardín con árboles frutales y hortalizas, de sus gallinas y gato, así como saborear las estupendas mermeladas que ellas elaboran. Todo muy bien y con un grato recuerdo.

  Nice house in a relatively quite neighbourhood of Angers. Nice and big garden, a cat and 3 chickens with a production of at least 2 eggs a day. Everything was well prepared for our one-week visit and we felt really welcome in their house. Angers and surroundings is a beautiful place to be. Very nice and friendly family.

• Tu casa entre castillos

  Casa tranquila, súper-acogedora, todos los detalles, mermeladas caseras, gallinas (traducir por huevos frescos) y gato. Angers es una ciudad genial, recogida, divertida, animada. Los alrededores perfectos, hechos para vivir y disfrutar la naturaleza en bici. Y por fin los castillos: ¡qué decir de esas maravillas! Unos son castillos, otros palacios, unos más pequeños, otros enormes, pero todos preciosos. ¡Merece la pena la visita! Calm, super-cozy house, all the details, domestic jams, hens (translate as fresh eggs) and a cat. Angers is a brilliant, quiet, enterteining, animated city. The perfect surroundings, done to live and to enjoy the nature by bike. And the castles: what to say of these marvels! Some are really castles, other are palaces, there are small ones, enormous others, but all of them are precious. It is worth a visit!
