  We found a most charming house. Exactly as described by the owner. A French house in a small French town. A small house in three stocks with small French bakconys. Absolutely only for two persons. The morning in front of the open balcony was excellent for your first cup of coffee. The bakery and the small supermarket was good to visit daily. Here you could practise your small French vocabulary. The people there were so nice. The cafe round the corner was okay as well. Unfortunately only meals for lunch. The area around (reached by car) was so nice for good walks, going to restaurants and even antic market. Our communication about the exchange was absolutely good and useful. We think we agreed very well about everything.

  We were awakened our first morning by the sound of bagpipes! A local parade was forming in the adjacent park, and the music went on for hours. Our little village had everything we wanted, plus live music and unexpectedly creative cuisine at Cardan's restaurant. We had many adventures and took a few memorable trips further afield, but it was nice to know we had a comfortable and inviting "home" to return to and regroup. Thank you Abby & Joe for a wonderful time!
