  A nuestra llegada encontramos una cálida acogida y todo preparado para una semana de descanso. Cerca del apartamento hay paradas de bus que llevan al centro histórico en media hora. La conducción en complicada por el numeroso tráfico, no obstante visitar ciudades cercanas como Braga o Guimaraes es recomendable. En todo momento estuvimos en contacto con Sue y Mark, lo que facilitó la estancia.

  The home swap with Sue and Mark from Bury St. Edwards was our first experience with exchanging homes together and it was perfect. They made us feel right at home and organised they exchange to make it as easy as possible for us. Sue and Mark have a very nice home right smack in the center of Bury, which in itself is a beautiful and history-loaden town. Being able to reach city center with all the bars, restaurants, shops, little stores, cinema and supermarkets within a few minutes really is a big plus. Although parking is an issue in every city center, we were taken good care of, as Sue and Mark provided us with visitor parking passes, so it wasn't an issue. The surroundings and attractions all around were described in detail and there was always something to do. The house was prepared for our stay and was spacious, really beautifully furnished and equipped to serve all our needs. Especially the large collection of DVDs and BluRays as an indoor activity option was well received by us for the few days, in which we had rain, or when we needed a slow evening under a blanket on the sofa. We would llike to come back some time and visit all the castles, cloisters, abbeys, museums and restaurants we did not have the chance to on our first stay. We are very grateful to both Sue and Mark for the very relaxing stay. Thank You, Alina & Marc

• Lovely stay in an interesting town.

  The house was in a walking distance to the beautiful town centre wth loads of cafes, good shopping and a great park. There were museums to visit in town as well as around and Cambridge or the coast were easily to be reached by car. As National Trust members we appreciated the closeness of Ickworth House which we visited three times within a week.... Our hosts were very helpful despite the fact that arrived rather unusually early (due to ferry arrival times) and had even arranged a parking spot for us which otherwise would have been quite difficult. All in all we enjoyedour stay very much.

  We enjoyed two wonderful weeks at Sue & Mark's home. We were lucky enough to get to spend some time with them and they were very welcoming and gracious. Wonderful people. Their home was lovely and comfortable. There is lots to see and do in Bury St Edmunds, most within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks there. Thanks, Sue & Mark!

  An old, but comfortable house in a historical city. Cambridge is not far away. Beautiful countryside and very friendly people.

  Lovely, period house delightfully decorated and comfortable, ideally located within Constable Country. It was a pleasure to meet Mark and Sue who did their best to ensure we had a lovely stay.
